FAQs
SOURCING
Where do you get all your materials?
Most of my fabrics for clothing are second hand. I purchase them from thrift stores, garage sales, and auctions. I also have friends and family that donate as well.
REFUNDS
Something is wrong with my product, can I get a refund?
The Plundering Possum does NOT offer refunds. All items are unique and one-of-a-kind. If the product arrives damaged that is something you will have to take up with the shipping company. I will NEVER ship a damaged or ruined product. However, I do offer free repairs (all you have to pay for is shipping).
SUSTAINABILITY
There are small holes or stains on my product, why?
In an effort to make my business sustainable, materials for clothing are sourced through thrift stores, garage sales, or donation. Because of this, products can have small stains or holes in them. I try to use flawed pieces as backing for upcycles or hide them with a cute design.
PRICE
Why is everything so expensive?
It takes me many hours to make a product and the materials cost me money. I additionally have to pay for sewing machine maintenance, thread, my website, and other expenses. Unfortunately, I cannot beat fast fashion prices, but I can beat their quality.
